I like to hunt with my friends as much as possible. but if they are not available, i go hunting on my own. when i hunt with buds, sometimes we hunt real close and sometimes we split up. i would say as i get older now with a family, the time spent with them is more valuable than ever. my daughter is 5 now an i took her several times last year but we never saw a deer. we just had a good ol time eating candy, singing songs, coloring, and taking a nap while on stand together. as for my wife, she hunts alone because she says she can spend quality time at home where its warm inside and if she' s gonna get up and go in the cold she wants it quiet. ha ha. oh well, to each their own idea.

I ALWAYS hunt alone.
I love the solitude, being one with nature.ALONE, perched in my chosen ambush site, there to look down over my forest, breathing it all in.NOT fore one moment do I forget, that for this brief period,
I AM THE DOMINAT PREDATORE
sorry guys,,,gettin all Ted like,,,it won' t happen again [

My most enjoyable hunts are with my buds also in the woods. I like the after the hunt camararderie.
My most enjoyable hunt to date was with my bud ~40 yards away in another tree. We pulled a triple[
]. I shot a doe
and then he shot a boar and then I shot a pig within 15 minutes. In East Texas to boot!! Talk about some high fiving going on!!
But, most of my hunts are alone
. Being a shift worker has its ups and downs.

I prefer to hunt alone, but have been taking friends along alot lately and introducing them to hunting.
Sometimes when I make a kill, and the hunt was awesome and there is no one to share the moment with I find myself wishing there was.

95% of my hunting is done by myself. I really like the fact that I don' t have to wait for anyone and if I feel like leaving I can. I always have a cell phone with me(never on in the woods) in case there is an unfortunate problem. I also ALWAYS let someone know where I am hunting.
