What % of your shots are passthroughs??

To my knowledge, all but one of my shots was a complete pass through. That one shot was from last year with that Gametracker Silvertip that disintegrated on impact. I am sure most of you folks remember that one. The deer did still drop in its tracks though...

KE has always been a major concern of mine, cause I will give up speed for KE.A lot of guys have to have blazing speed to be happy,so they do it with lighter arrow weights.IMHO, I won' t hunt with less than 410grs total weight, and with my LX at 66lbs.I' m getting 272fps.PLenty fast ,with lots of KE......98% passthoughs. My last three bows have been basically set-up this way.....Bob

Of the 5 deer I' ve killed with archery gear, 3 have been complete pass throughs. The first deer I shot was a button buck back in 99, my second year of bowhunting. I was shooting low poundage (40 lbs), my arrow was perfect, taking out his heart and then lodging in the off shoulder.
The first mature doe I arrowed last year provided a strange shot. She was perfectly broadside 12 steps away, and my arrow hit about 6 inches farther back than it should' ve been. The arrow penetrated about 14 inches into her chest and stopped [
]. No idea what happened there, I shoot low 60' s with Beman ICS arrows and a Barrie Ti-100. The other two shots I took on deer last year we' re perfect pass throughs. Maybe it was just a fluke?
