New bow hunter
For the past 8-years I've been hunting Shoot gun and muzzleloader. Next year I want to get into bow hunting so, I'm looking into making a purchase on a used bow after Christmas. I don't have the money for a high dollar new bow. I'm currently looking at the Mathews Z7. What are your thoughts on this bow and what kind of sights should I have put on this bow? Any inputs will be greatly apprecitated. I don't plan on taking this bow into the woods till next years hunting seasons. I want plenty of time to practice with my bow.

Check out 3-D bowshoots in your area, most 3-D guy's upgrade every year or two & they maintain & tune their bows. Often they sell used bows with expensive accessories on them too. Stop by a bowshoot & look for a bulletin board, maybe post a notice with your draw length & what you're looking for....good luck!
