My son went out tonight and got a doe. he is 17 and this was his first solo hunt that ended with a deer on the ground. All together he saw 11 deer. 1 nice 8 pt that he spooked and then got a 10 yard shot on the doe. very proud of him. well for reason I cant get the pic up.

Glad to hear of your sons harvest. There is still plenty of time to get that buck. I saw a nice 8 yesterday too and when I went back for the evening I might have spooked it. I'm gonna set up a trailcam today and give him a few days before I hunt it.
