Default Paging all True Talker owners...

I bought one of these when they first came out. Used it and loved it. Went to get my crap ready for the next season, and couldn' t find it, so I bought another one.

The first one had a wood body under the black rubber. It had a rich near perfect tone. The second one was all plastic, and while still good, it just wasn' t up to par with the first one' s sound.

Is your TT wood or plastic? Any idea why they changed?

Mine is wood - i picked mine up prior to last season. Not sure why they would change it. It is one of the few calls that most people agree is worth the money spent on it.

Just a clarification. The piece the reed attaches to is wood. The " barrel" it slides into is plastic on the new call, was wood on the first one...

I' ve had mine for 2-3 years now and it is all wooden. I have to agree it is probably the best call on the market today[]
