Default Projected rut for 2012

If you buy into the rut being effected by the phases of the moon here is this years projected rut from Charles Alsheimer.

I have November 5th to 11th off so it looks good for my schedule! I don't trust these too much though, weather I feel is key to. A good warm front could basically shut down the rut. I'm hoping for a nice cool week starting the 5th!

Not sure I by into that... I am all ready seeing bucks fallowing does around... Way to early for that in my opinion.. But they did up our bow season starting date to Oct 1st instead of the 15th.. I'm glad they are fallowing them around, should be easy to call them in...

I think it also has to do with where you are in the country. The rut has laways been different where I hunt in Michigan to where I hunt in Illinois. I think they need to let us know on where this rut estimate is suppose to be as well.
