Default Shrinkage - in antlers...

Do antlers shrink as they come out of velvet or are they pretty much the same size?
Of the bucks I' ve seen lately I would say that most have lost their velvet. I' ve also spotted a couple of rubs.
Yesterday I watched two does come thru the woods and right behind them a doe was being chased by a buck. Hmmmm.......
Also, not long after, I had this small deer bed down about 30 feet from me:

They appear to shrink only becuase the thick fuzzy velvet adds thickness to them. Remove that and the rack is thinner, but it itself hasn' t shrank.
