Goals
1) Hunt a lot.
2) Spend time learning my new hunting property.
3) A couple of does with the new Bowtech would be nice!
4) A buck in the 120' s would be wonderful! Bow or gun, it don' t really matter!

I would like to have a season that is filled with friends, story worthy events, successful kills, good video, and last but not least a P & Y qualifying buck 3+ years old.
Good luck to and and God Bless!!

To take a couple of nice fat does for the freezer
Get at least two 3 1/2 year old bucks within bow range. At that point I' ll decide whether to take them or not. That would be a successful season for me.
Another goal is to set my friend up in a really good location so he can kill his first buck ever.

my goal is to take my first deer with a bow. I ve taken many deer over the years with a rifle, but not with a bow, This will be my first full bow season in over 10 years, I did have a couple of december bow hunts last year.

I' m ready to get after MR. BIG...but first priority will be trying to tag some does for the freezer. But my biggest goal is for everyone to have a SAFE and Successful season.

First, not to fall out of my treestand!
Second....well, like everyone else I try to put myself in the best position to shoot a nice buck. Of course, I recognize that a number of variables affect the chances of that happening. Like many of you, I have to admit that P&Y bucks don' t typically tip over in front of me each bow season. So I have one goal that is impossible to not reach:
To me, that is what it is all about. That is my goal: to experience the sheer fun and excitement that is bow season.

HAVE FUN!
Achieving that is an individual thing, but to me it is pretty simple. Getting out into a stand and just seeing deer. Watching the comical manner in which deer try to eat fallen apples off of a nearby apple tree. Seeing bald eagles fly overhead and roost less than 100 yards away. Feeling the heart pound a little harder at the sight of the first buck of the year...even a small six pointer will somehow let me know the season is underway. Having a friend drive by with a buck that he just harvested and hearing the story. (In some years, I am lucky enough to be the one driving the latest harvest around because it is mine!) Sitting and having a few beers after the hunt and talking about the ones we saw...or missed...or wished we had seen.To me, that is what it is all about. That is my goal: to experience the sheer fun and excitement that is bow season.
