First, let me say that I hope I never wind up hunting near you.
Second, I hope the local game ranger finds your butt and sticks it in the slammer.
You' re not a hunter, you are a POACHER!!!

I think it should be 2 bucks, 4 does. If you shoot a buck, you must then shoot a doe to shoot your second buck. They also need to get rid of the 16 day gun season, i think thats going to screw a lot up. But, thats just my opinion. The state needs to do something though. We need to get across that does need to be taken and little bucks need to walk.

I don' t think the state would gain much from going to a 1 buck a season only. The reasoning behind this is that I know some hunters who would go out and get the 1 buck and not hunt for the rest of the seasons. They have this mentality that a doe is just not worth the drag out of the woods.
I feel to really help get the ratio back under control OK needs to go to the earn a buck policy. This will force the hand of the other hunters who refuse to make an effort to take does.
When growing up in East Texas in the 70' s and 80' s the deer population was non-existance. I use to think their tag system was the craziest thing I had ever seen. Going back to the farm the last couple of years I am seeing more and more deer and the improvments are incrediable. Here in OK we have the deer populations, now we just need the quality and the bucks to get us there.
