A buddy of mine has that same stand. He hates the seat.....says it' s uncomfortable. I' ve never sat in it, so I can' t offer much of an opinion. He uses it alot....killed a few deer from it too. I suppose it' s next in line to Summit' s line of climbers!

I have an API Grand Slam Climber and love it. It is one of the most comfortable seats I' ve ever sat in. It has a swinging seat which is much more comfortable than sitting on a piece plywood with a 1 1/2" foam pad on it.

I have also ben a big fan of Summit stands.......I personally won' t trust my butt to anything else. I have had 4 different model Summit climbers over the last 6 seasons and I have been very happy with each of them.
I currently use a " Goliath" , and am picking up a " Cobra XLS" top section for a few thick areas I hunt where sitting shots might be a regular occurance.
Great stands and one of those companies that really stands behind their stands.........hey I made a funny!

Trust is important in selecting a stand....and I trusted my Api grandslam
and I trust my hunters view now....and that' s what matters.
my hawk cable climber also has a swinging seat and back pad. so it' s very comfortable.
