It depends on the available habitat and sometimes weather conditions for me. I like them both, they allow me to be more adaptable. I use natural ground blinds and a double bull portable along with many fixed tree stands and one climber.

I use a tree stand. You can see more and in my opinion, your not in the scent line of deer. Although, from high in my stand, I've seen some pretty good spots to set up in that are "natural" ground blinds. I'll give them a try next season.

I have had success both ways but the majority of my time spent in the woods is in a tree. There is nothing like taking a deer from eye level though. They both have there advantages. Depends on the area I am hunting.
