I do as well. Open handed accept for my index just touching my thumb. I don' t use it for a stabilizer, rather for a consistent grip. If my grip is off even slightly I can feel it right away. Works for me. I personally don' t care if I look like a homo or not...I shot better doing it.

I also shoot that way and I think it has really helped me with my form. As far as looking gay I just make sure no one else is around before I stick that pinky out.:D
