Ohhh ....Lets see, I get to the stand about 4:00 am, that way I can take a short nap before sunrise, and I get down at dark. Never been the guy to take a break during the day......

Depends on afternoon stand in relation to where deer are bedding.
If the stand I will be using is close to the bedding area presently being used…. 500-1000 yards, I try to be in my stand by no later than 1:00 PM; preferably earlier.
If the stand is one that is a greater distance from where the deer will be coming from; no later than 2:00-2:30 PM.

Early in the season, I like to be on the stand 3 hours before sunset. In the two weeks closest to the rut, I like to on by noon, (6 hours before sunset). Late season I like to be there 2 hours before sunset. For some reason in late season the area I hunt the deer just move an hour before dark. Its also a heck of alot easier to stay warm for only two hours!!!!!!
Good Luck!!

I usually try to get out to my stand a good hour before sunrise in the am. For the afternoon, it' s around 4 o' clock. If I jump anything on the way in. I' ll try to 30-45 minutes earlier the next day.
