Default 20011 crop harvest.

I live and hunt in central IL and I really havn't seen to much action yet this year and the main two reasons are because this years harvest is moving so slow and the heat. The farmers are doing their best but most of them have had to switch over to beans which has left a lot of standing corn around where I hunt. Has anybody else run into this problem this year? I know it happens every year but I was hoping for an early harvest. unlike the past several years where we still have had standing corn in November.
Plus the 80 degree heat is not helping things out either. throw in a full moon and the deer only move at night.
Nothing I can really do about any of this. I just figured it would be something to talk about. I mean if farmers can stand around and bitch about the weather and crops why cants we!

The good news around where I hunt, Jodavies County, is that they where starting to harvest the corn fields. We have had the same problem with the warm weather and the corn still being in...
