I got it last Wed. when I opened it and looked through it I thought it was a defect. It was clear to about 50 yards then from there out it was kind of blurry so I call them back and they said they would send a new one.Well I got the new on today and it seemed a little better but not much.I guess that is why they are cheaper than the rest.Anyways,I tried it out and it works great, seems to be very accurate, ranges down to 6 yards.Very simple to use.I will only use it for bowhunting so I will only range to about 40 yards and maybe use it to sight in my rifles at further distances. But if I were buying one to shoot far with a gun I would spend the extra bucks and get a better one.But for bowhunting it will work just fine.

JPS,
I would say that your post is a fair summary of the Sport. The optics aren't top notch but I think that is what you get with one of the inexpensive "Permafocus" setups. I really haven't had any blurring problems exactly, though I will agree that it isn't a crisp image at farther distances.
But, if I was going to range longer distances then I probably would have bought the Pro 400, 600 or 800.
