I' ve got several Buck knives, and my favorite is my 110 Folding Hunter. I also have a 119 I believe....it' s a fixed blade. I like the lockback because I can slip it into my pocket and don' t have to deal with a sheath when I sit down or move about in my stand. Also, it seems alot of knive come with a leather sheath; I would rather have no sheath to hold odors than a leather or cordura sheath. Just my opinion, take it how ever you see fit.

Grabbed a BUCK. Very nice feel, fits my hand really well and shaves hair off my arm out of the box. Got a good deal........this knife and a Lansky kit for $50. I really like the rubber handle.

thats a good knife you picked....my dad has one...i love it....but he doesnt like its size..he carries it but i havent seen him use it yet...i got a case knife my dad passed down to me.....its a lock back......it holds an edge forever....i also have a remington with the bone saw and gut hook blade and the straight edge.....very nice knife...but before i was done with one deer i found myself sawing with a straight edge because it was dull......ill give it one more deer....ill try to get it extra sharp......i really like it.....but it wont hold an edge.....or maybe i didnt sharpen it good...ill give it another try....i hate to take my case out...if i loose it or break it or even stain it or something i will be upset.....its a good expensive knife and i think they quit making it.......so id like to keep it how it is.....in great shape except for a little brass discoloring but with brass youll have that.....

Here' s my baby....goes where ever I' m hunting..
This a custom that a guy that I know makes...he is a licensed knife maker...the pic doesn' t really do it justice but I like it. It has a cocabola handle, turqouise, and some knife makers steel that I can' t remember. But man is it sharp, holds an edge and easy to resharpen to shave hair.
It has the hook on it, but he also makes them without. In fact he showed me a folder he just got through with the other day...Mammoth tusk plates...awesome!! I tried to buy it from him, but he wouldn' t sell.
Best of all, there affordable. I got this one at a discounted price, but he usually charges $135 for this knife, and I believe $225 for a folder.
I' m buying two more from him this year, one for my dad, and another for me..without the hook, and a little smaller for skinning.
