thats a good knife you picked....my dad has one...i love it....but he doesnt like its size..he carries it but i havent seen him use it yet...i got a case knife my dad passed down to me.....its a lock back......it holds an edge forever....i also have a remington with the bone saw and gut hook blade and the straight edge.....very nice knife...but before i was done with one deer i found myself sawing with a straight edge because it was dull......ill give it one more deer....ill try to get it extra sharp......i really like it.....but it wont hold an edge.....or maybe i didnt sharpen it good...ill give it another try....i hate to take my case out...if i loose it or break it or even stain it or something i will be upset.....its a good expensive knife and i think they quit making it.......so id like to keep it how it is.....in great shape except for a little brass discoloring but with brass youll have that.....
