Anyone used the "unscented" spray for early deer season?

I was curious if the unscented bug spray is REALLY unscented or have you noticed deer still catching wind of it?? If it works it would be like the best thing since slice of bread using that in combination with a thermacell. I am hunting out of a ground blind so the thermacell (havn't used one before) should work pretty good inside there. Any thoughts???

It is not truly unscented...ive had deer bust me with it on every time. Therma cell is the way to go IMO.

thermacell is the best thing since sliced bread!!!!! if your in a ground blind and you turn that thing on there will not be one mosquito come near you. i use mine when im up in a lock on and even when windy it still works. trust me you should definitely get a thermacell!!

Like Bigbuck said the thermacell works even in windy conditions. I use mine early season and the thing works great. The unit does say it is scent free but it does leave an odor. BEATS GETTIN CHOWD

Unscented is not scent free. I think it just means they didn't add any cover scent to it. It still stinks of deet. Thermacell is the way to go.

Thermacells are worth their weight in gold if you ask me.
