As I said early I`m still shocked. I will also add that under no condition would I shoot a man over a dead deer, hell I wouldn`t point a gun at a person over a dead deer because remember that the winner of a mexican standoff is the one that pulls the trigger first. I have taken a deer away from some trespassers and although they were pissed I still never feared for my safety. If the area I hunted had those kind of problems then i`d go somewhere else and if I lived there I know who I was dealing with and call the law.

Rack-attack, LMAO Feral house cats, poodles and terriers.

And all you carry is a 45. You might want to think about carrying a 12 gauge.

No Guys, I am Serious!!!!!

Some of my best spots border on 10 – 20 Million dollar homes of the Rich and Famous. They have huge parties all the time and I guess they let their pooches get all cocained up. These little suckers run the woods like a packs of Wolves. Have you ever seen a pack of poodles???? – obviously not, if you question my use of a 45.

Scariest moment of my life was when I looked down at the base of my tree to see that chowowa looking up at me. All drugged up and crazy eyed. He stared straight into my eyes and said “Wonder if you taste like a Taco”[][:-]

[]Wow,
Do I feel lucky living where I do. Been tromping through the woods around here for better than 40 years. Yup, I' ve run across some smart a$$ trespassers but knew they wouldn' t rape, rob, torture, or kill me.[>:] I' m afraid I' d have to give up and move if it came to carrying a gun just so I could go bowhunting.[:' (]

CG, FYI.....they changed the regs last year! If you have a legal CCDW in West Virginia ie: license/permit you are allowed to carry with not only a bow but rifle....... I always have had and will have my trusty .357mag at my side regardless. And yes, I am 100% legal! A good idea if you have your permit even if hunting on your own land would be to have a DL size laminated copy of your CCW to carry in the holster of your carry weapon. Just a thought.....
I only hunt my own acreage but.....you just never know what you may run into.......

Its not what you harvest...
Its what you learn...

You know I have never worryed about anything out where I hunt. Not about hogs, cats, cows and not really snakes. Till last year.
We found out that someone had been using the area that our lease was in for a moble crack lab. Including our lease.
With this info and a few words from the DPS, I do carry now when I go out.
Never know what a hog, cat, cow or a snake will do on crack[]

Funny stuff here. How do poodles taste? Got a permit to carry but never do cause I don' t need the weight. It' s illegal during bow and my buddy carries a small 38 but my uncle taught me to kill with a knife and it works fine in a pinch. All this panty droppin cracker attack stuff is BS. The take your deer stuff might happen but so what. You guys wouldn' t point the gun at someone unless they were pointing at you or it' s prison time even in the great open carry state of AZ.

You canadians have nothing to worry about since the socialists took yer guns away so keep that pocket knife sharp

Funny you should say thet - I have on a few occasions ran into little farms of planted pot in some of my areas. Was actually relieved ,after finding these well cut paths and seeing a truck in the area that they were pot growers. Thought I had some more hunting competition in the area

Bring a knife to a gunfight? That would be stupid.

Now, I will admit I wouldn' t get raped while hunting, but murdered is a different story. Here in Fl. in the ' 80s there were probably 10 hunters murdered in one year the next year a few more were killed. I do not remember what year it was. Maybe my 9mm wouldn' t be comparable to a 30.06 but it would even the field alot more than a knife! BTW the movie Deliverance was a TRUE story

Not all guns in Canada are gone. Some people are still allowed to have rifles for hunting...or am I wrong? AND what about the guns criminals had before the ban?
