My Favorite Bowhunter's would have to be My Dad and Grandpa, They both taught me the ethics, and passion behind bowhunting. They also taught me how to scout and shoot. When to shoot and where to aim. But most importantly they stood by me when I made a mistake and needed a laugh. Those are my favorite Bowhunting Celebrities. No one compares to them. Both of those other celebrities do help the sport out by attracting new hunters so I guess they arent all bad.

You sound jealous to me. I don't hate either one, then again I don't know them. I met Mr. Adams once and he seemed nice enough to me. Never met the other, but have seen most of the tapes. I would love to have Chucks skill, and Bills Money and business sense. But I don't hate them for it.

I don't "hate" anyone, although I disapprove of what's passed off as "hunting" sometimes on the Realtree videos. I was watching one a couple days ago, and deer literally flooded in from the right side of the screen. The announcer/commentator stated: "Now why would all those deer just run in like that?" I know: it's called a drive!
On a positive note, if you ever get a chance to watch any Alan Altizer videos, be sure and not pass those up!! The man is an expert teacher -- one of the big things noted above which was missing in the other personalities -- and he truly "hunts" his quarry. Often, the cameras pick up the game moseying in from several hundred yards, slowly, obviously not pushed by drivers. I have watched tons of bowhunting films, and Alan is far and away the best out there.

It does seem sometimes that everyone is jealous of these guys. Heck, I AM! God, I would LOVE to be in their shoes. They make money off of hunting, we have to pay to go hunting. They are both dedicated to hunting which is one of the most important qualities in a hunter. They both love hunting, treat the animals with respect. It doesn't matter if they are guided or non guided hunts. Just because these guys use a guide doesn't mean that they are lazy. They still have to work for there animals. They have both contributed a lot of things to the sport of bow hunting. They both bring new people into hunting, and they both try to keep hunting alive. I don't hate either one of them, heck I have a lot of respect for both of them. Chuck Adams would be my pic just because I believe he is a better archer. Sure, Realtree Outdoors Videos can be bad. We can sit there and talk about how those guys are on guided hunts. BUT what do you think kids are thinking when they watch these shows. They are thinking, "man, I want to be able to take deer like them. Maybe I will start hunting and try to be a great archer" They bring in a lot of new people to the sport and they help keep PETA away. They both are in it for money, sure, but I guarentee that if Bill had his camo line and videos taken away he would still hunt. Same goes with Chuck. They would probablly both be able to take record class deer if they didn't have there money and fame. Bill makes movies that are visual pleasing to hunters, Chuck writes articles that are pleasing to read. Thats what they do. They are both good hunters and good guys in my eyes.
Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

I dislike any hunter who buys himself into a possition of only having to shoot and ends up with a nice buck or whatever in the record books or a stuffed head on the wall. That just aint huntin in my opinion. Now, Chuck Adams, no matter how controversial he is or isn't, is one heck of a bowhunter. Maybe the best ever. He'd be welcome in my camp anytime.

there's only a couple people I truley hate(I want get into that)as for Chuck Adams,I have saw very little of his hunts on the tube. I guess he doesn't make many.
Bill Jordan,I have saw a bunch of his shows because I like to see big bucks on the tibe, because I will never get to see REAL big bucks in the wild.
I have became disallusioned with Mr. Jprdan as of late because of something I saw on one of his shows.
he shot a real nice buck coming from left to right.he hit him behind the right front shoulder.a nice shot, the buck ran into a gress marsh.he said nice shot, when they found the buck the arrow was sticking (IN) on the left side of the buck.
I know they edit the flim, but that is not edditing that is weird fliming.
just a though.
I know if they didn't shot deer no one would watch,so they have to see and shoot a lot of deer to keep there sponsors and vewiers.
I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest
remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

I don't like Bill Jordan too much. I don't like the fact that he is always promoting something. I do like Chuck Adams a hell of a lot more but don't hear or see him 2 much. Two guys who come to my mind would be Greg Miller and Gene Wensel.

JUst about all of those guys buy some aspect of their hunting that most of us cant. I may envy those guys but I don't hate em. I have met Brunner and his attitude not what hunts he can buy make him an A-hole. He is a midget with a big case of little man syndrome. Kind of a human chihuaha.
I think my favorite celeb hunter might be Nugent. Not because he is a great hunter (maybe he is, maybe he isnt) but because he always has the cahonneys to tell everyone how it is with regard to hunting and our gun rights. BTW did I spell Cahonneys right? probably not!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
