We dance around them where I live. They look upon us as the "other white" meat.

Rumor has it one has been seen by my place twice in the last week. Im calling bs. Well see what the cuddeback finds.

That's the way I look at it too. Many, and I mean many around my area claim to have seen mountain lions. Some credible people but until I see one myself I'll always have doubts. Then, everyone can call my sighting BS as well.

One that was actually photo'd over in the Poconos was immediately dismissed as a "pet" that got loose.

There has been rumors about Big cats roaming around over here in S IL in the River bottoms close to home.

I did Not pay much attention to them until I saw the/a Cougar. There really was no mistaking what it was. It is the only time I have seen one but I won't forget it.

There are several Bobcats around though. No comparison at all!!

Thats the local assumption anyways, which doesnt mean much to me.

hope i never get the chance to kill one!..........but if i do i am not going to sit around calling the DNR to see if its ok....i am shooting before it decides to kill me

They scared it into the a tree and im sure they had there guns ready incase it did decide to come down for a fight.
