I bought me a golden eagle evolution bow off Ebay. I am trying to step up to a single cam bow from my older PSE wheel bow. Do any of you hunt with or have hunted with one of the Golden Eagle Bows? Just wondering if anyone had any input on this bow. probably should have checked before I bid but I felt like it was a good deal. Thanks for any input.

I hunt w/ a golden eagle ultra-evolution at 28 1/2 in. draw @74 lbs EASTON 2512`S @about 240 fps- this bow is very smooth and quiet- i think the evolution was a heavier bow made before the ultra- everyone i know who had the evolution liked it except for the weight- i shot one a couple times and it was heavy. dean

I have one, and love it. Very smooth and forgiving.
Mine is dual cam, with the adjustable timing.
It slings them pretty good & flat. 1-25 yards is a single pin, with my cheap-o carbons.
I too made my purchase on E-bay

I have one and it' s a very nice bow. I purchased mine when the first came out around 8 years ago. Since then I had a problem and golden eagle replaced it with a solid limb single cam. It is very smooth, quiet, and shoots well. It' s not the fastest or slowest bow going, nor the cheapest or most exspensive. What it is, is an excellent hunting that gets the job done if you do yours.

My very first bow about three years ago was a Golden Eagle. I left it in the car for a couple days and it got all screwed up because of the heat. I took it back to the store and they replaced, no questions asked. I love the bow and plan on buying my uncle' s Golden Eagle this year.
