Default Rub???

idk if this is a rub or not...seems a little high up and late for one.... the highest point is about 6 foot and my hand is a reference for how big around it is.....first sign of the rut i have seen in that area....hmm...no bucks on camera either....

That is a nice rub, but I have not found a new rub in a while and I hunt central MO. Could be a buck that moved in to a doe heavy area that does not have a dominate buck right now. I know the secondary rut has kicked in around here. Seen several bucks chasing over the last week or so. In fact, I had one come into a can call the other night, just too darn dark to see through the peep on the bow. Oh well, smokepole starts tomorrow.

No doubt that is a rub and he destroyed that tree. I think you might have a buck worth looking for!!!!
