Also here in TN the season is still the last weekend of September!! I will be on that one also.
I will hunt every chance I get no matter how early or late in the year it may be. I look forward to getting a shot at a buck in velvet, even if the neck is not all swollen from rut.

As of right now it is still Oct. first here in Illinois. I have heard word that they are thinking about extending the season though. Which way I have no idea. I hope they make it earlier though, I' d love to kill one with velvet.

Sept 13th here in Wisconsin. Come to think of it, that is very early for us...in my opinion too early.
Heck I' ve sat in 75 degree weather when it started much later in the month.
Bad news is that it might be too warm.

Yes I believe that Sept 6 is correct for Ky also.
Jersey Joe,I hope and prey it is only 80 when the 6th roles around.It is usually low to mid 90' s at that time of the year[:' (].Man that is too hot to hunt.But I will be there like always.[8D]
