Yep, it is a good thread stealthy. I wondered how peoples shooting judgement would be swayed by the size of the racks. Not to mention that two of them are in a high fence area and all but 1 are looking at the shooter. You'll see lots of dead deer from this bunch and a few wounded deer too I think.

I shoot a 55# recurve, and probably generate less KE than anyone whose answered.

#1 NO (Can't break shoulder bone shooting 175fps)

#2 YES (No-brainer)

#3 Yes (From a tree stand only. I've killed a couple from this angle...and it's a good shot. If an arrow hits about 8" in front of the deers left hip, it'll exit the deer below the right shoulder. Those bottom holes leave nasty blood trails. Only thing I don't like is not hitting both lungs.)

#4 No shot. (Even if it was broadside I'm not sure I could draw on that monster.)

RAC, on number 1 if you place your shot 3 inches down from where the shoulder and the neck meet, you'll be right in the boiler room. And you will miss that shoulder blade belive it or not. Made that shot year before last. I always look at where the arrow will come out at as much as where it should go in.

I shoot both compound and traditional...the only reason I wouldn't shoot on 1 and 3 is that the buck is looking me straigt in the eye, there is to great a chance that they will see/hear the shot and move (drop, jump....) and if they do it will probably result in a hit other than the sight picture I see in the photo's....

How many points did he have????
