They came out w/ two new bows.
The Legacy and the Tycon. Don't really have much info on them yet but do know the cam is different and there is no cable gaurd..(uses some sort of rollers). One of them has a 7 1\2 in. brace height and is 37" axle to axle. IBO is on 300fps which to me is slow. I'll have top see them before I make up my mind. I may just go out and buy the Q2 if I don't like the design and apearence. I thought the would have the web sight updated today but like last year, they don't...maybe we'll have to wait a couple of months to see them on line like we did last year. Oh well.
They did come out / a 3rd bow which is like the Genesis(for kids).

ALLRIGHT! A bird and fish Bow!! I cant tell you how many times while at a 3-D shoot I wished I had a "special" bow just for those turkey targets, and Im hoping that a mckensie alligator would be close enough to a fish for the new bow to work!!!! Cant wait!

From a guy at the bowsite...

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quotequote:
Ikon, Legacy, and Sportsman.

Ikon -- 37" A-A, 7.75 brace, IBO 308, new cable slide system. Legacy -- 34" A-A, 300 IBO, new cable slide system. Sportsman -- for Bowfishing, similar to Genesis.

All info is 2nd hand.

If what is stated is the truth, the sq2 will be my choice along with the trophy ridge matrix sight and tiger tuff overdraw.

Maybe someone can answer this for me.
1. Are more bows sold each year for hunting or target?
2. The first major 3-D tournaments starts in a couple weeks and the new line is just getting announced? Why is this? Seems if bow xyz is so good, why not introduce it in Dec or something so folks can get one for the new 3-D season? Duh, just a thought.

Well its apparent to me that Mathews has NOTHING of importance out this year! As all the forums I go to, nothing much is being said! In some past years, the boards/forums were flooded with Mathews talk! Could be they are finally losing there brain washing talents, and people are looking at better bows!
