First tune your bow, get those arrows flying straight off your bow with field points.

I have had exceptional results with the 2 Blade Rages this year. I am careful about checking to make sure the blades are seated every time I knock an arrow (no big deal). So far, two arrows shot tipped with the Rage 2 Blade has given me 2 complete pass thrus on quartering away shots. Big entrance and exit wounds with good blood trails. I shoot 68 lbs., 30" draw, 420 grain arrow. Here is one of the entrance wounds on a 222 lb buck I killed quartering away passthru.

I use Rage 2".

Won't use anything else.

I have had zero problems with my Rage heads, 8 for 8 on deer shot with the Rage, all full pass throughs. I also have not had a problem with the blades opening in the quiver, once I seat them, they stay seated.

Tune your bow and shoot a solid rpl blade Broadhead like Slick Tricks. In the long run you'll be glad you did.

This is my first year using them. I agree with the earlier comment about the rubber bands wearing thin, but it put a nice entry hole in my buck, and got a complete pass through. I will continue to use them.

You might want to check out the Wasp Jak-hammer broadheads... They have 3 blades 1 3/4" cutting diameter and they fly just like field points. I got a pack off ebay shipped for $20

I have had no problem with them at all and would recommend them to anyone that has a properly tuned bow.

I am a fixed blade shooter, except for turkey hunting. My buddy wanted to shoot the Rage 2 blades last spring and I stuck with my Spitfire Gobbler Getters. We spent numerous hours in the blind together and he was always messing with his blades on the Rage. They would pop out easily and were a real nusiance. After our spring season he sold his Rage head and bought several Spitfire Gobbler Getters.

Shoot what you like and are comfortable with and for me Rage heads are more trouble than they are worth.
