A friend of mine told me about a 600lb+ (possible record) black bear taken with a bow in Carbon Co. I was curious if anyone had any info on this?

i picked up a copy of the suburban news...a small local paper out of sweet valley...the biggest i saw in there was 300 and change...no words here around our deer camp of anything like that...one gang got a nice one that was 480 est live weight though

My buddys group got a 600+ pounder in the poconos in monroe county, could be the one you heard about. it was 640 live and 542 gutted. monster of a bear.
