Sure, you can have your choice of bucks from one of my stands in Dickinson County. Take your pick.
1. a spike with three inch spikes
2. a mutant fork horn that is crossing each side
3. a six pointer with two inch g2's
4. a five pointer with a crab claw on one side
5. an eight pointer with a twelve inch spread and tiny tines.
All trophy Michigan bucks!

It's only going to get worse until the DNR does something about the screwed up buck-to-doe ratio. It's horribly skewed right now and that's contributing a lot to the lack of large bucks IMO. Few bucks means more people whacking little ones before they have a chance to mature, even with the new rules on the second buck (4 points to a side). That, and people need to start cutting their timber...quality habitat has gone downhill fast over the past 20 years.

Hunting sucks here this year also. I have never gone this long and not had a deer on the ground by now. And have only seen 2 deer, for about 40 hours of sitting. I have walk a 70 acer area and have only seen 2 rubs. I put my cam back up last night, and checked it today. 22 pictures of 2 doe. And of course, 25 minutes after dark
