Congrats on finding her. I know what it feels like. I lost my first deer this year. It was a little 5 pointer that was quartering to just a bit and didn't aim far enough back and got all shoulder blade. No penetration at all, no blood and never found him. I'm sure he's alive.

Good job ol-d, don't get so harn on yourself. Any great bowhunter will tell you they lost one at sometime in their career. Keep up the good huntin and remeber you will never know it all.
Soke all the knowledge up that you can.
