Montec or slicktrick
I alread have both and have been shooting them. My bow is tuned beautifully and they are both hitting with my FPs. I am shooting a 60# Parker Legend with 100gr heads. That being said, which head would you rather shoot? The montec looks like it would be much more durable and do more damage but I am hearing so many good things about the STs.

The Montecs are really nice, little small but effective. I saw a guy shoot thru a 55 gallon metal drum and it didnt even affect it. He shot with the same head 4 times and it went thru with no problems. Never shot the slicktricks.

You can't go wrong with either so you're in good shape. Actually the ST's have more cutting surface and IMHO I think they're sharper from the factory. Put either in the boiler rm. and you won't have any problems.

I killed about 5 deer with a montec. thats right same head. I didn't like the wound channel myself. I quit using em. I just want my heads sharper than this. And slicktricks are sharper, much sharper. You can only get a montec so sharp with a 30 degree bevel. The new ones are supposed to have more carbon content and be easier to get sharper, but I never could get the older ones to shave my arm.

Never shot the montecs, but I love the ST's. For a fixed head, they blow a heck of a hole in deer. Easy for recovery. I don't think you could go wrong either way though. Go with the one you have more confidence in
