I'll be out. Actually......60deg (AM) ain't bad. Neither is 80deg. when we go to stand.

I've seen (and hunted in) worse.

Yeah like the opener last year when we were down there!! What was it Jeff, like 102 degs or something completely rediculous? I would have LOVED to have had 80 deg temps.

Good luck fellas, be safe and just have some fun

I will be out too. I do prefer cooler weather but in this area of the country 60s in the AM isn't too bad. I gave up on SC, although they have some good (Not Great) deer there, August 15th is always hot. Two years ago every day was above 100 degrees. Looking forward to Saturday and some backstraps.

I've got my tree picked out, 20 yards from a chestnut oak that's dropping...

I'm shooting every night to get pumped up. I've visted the area Saturday and tonight. I will be back later in the week. This is a new area for me and there is a soy bean field. In fact this is my first NC hunt ever. I'm hoping for the best. Finding hunting areas here is a night mare.

More later........

I still have a little over 5 weeks to go. I need to get out and start shooting but I have been having some problems with my shoulder which turns out its some disc's in my neck pinching a nerve that goes to my right shoulder and makes my right arm have pain and go numb, go figure. We will see what happens, I go back to the docs tomorrow for a follow up on an injection I had done on my lower back. Ya my spine is falling apart.
