nodog, your right I won't complain to much lol reading some of the other post it should could be worse!!
|
he ended up having to spend almost 400 bucks for the family. Your complaining about spending $400 doesn't mean squat if we don't know how many people this $400 is accounting for. |
Let's see
you complain about the license cost for an entire family.
But I noticed that the cost of your bow and equipment, wasn't chopped calves liver. |
Its no doubt that to equip a family with licenses, equipment, etc isn't inexpensive, but neither is soccer, softball, etc ...except with the latter the parents sit on the sidelines rather than participate.
Plus watching your son or daughter place their tag on their first big game harvest will be a memory all will remember.....can't say the same for the first soccer goal. |
I spent 960 and got the lifetime Sportsman, Bow and muzzy this year pays for itself in 8 and if you get it before Oct 1 you don't pay the increase, well worth it if you ask me.

i want to know where t take an approved archery course?
|
Sounds like you got 4 Super Sportsman licenses and a doe tag each. Multiple licenses add up.

Look on-line in the area you normally go or anywhere if you don't care there are usually a ton this time of year in gander mountains, churces, fish and game clubs etc. I think NYSDEC website has a list as well |
thats y i like ky its 95 for fishing and hunting
|
I just got my license yesterday. $88. That's a sportsman plus turkey, bow. A sportsman is, big game ( deer and bear ) plus $10 to "apply" for up to 2 doe tags, you may not end up with any. fishing, ( covers all fish ) Small game= rabbit, squirrel, coyote. Last year I paid $58 for the same thing that coast my $88 this year. NY wants more sportsman, they wont get them that way.
