Default Opinions On Copper John Dead Nuts Sight Wanted

What Does everyone think about the Copper John Dead Nuts brand of sights? I was thinking about buying one. Are they durable? Easy to adjust? Are the pins Durable? Does the hardware stay tight after use? If given the choice would you purchase the Copper Juhn Dead Nuts Hunter or the Dead Nuts Pro? Let me know what you think, At first appearance this looks like a pretty tough sight. And does anyone know if you can put some sort of light on this sight? Thanks

I have used the Copper Johns on my bows. I like the Pro II the best. It has a dove tail mount & can be leveled to the bow. The Pro is a direct mount, and is more compact and lighter. It can be leveled as well. The .029 pins are much brighter than the .019 pins. Make sure to get a 2003 model sight. The area where the pin guard adjusts for windage has been beefed up to allow more clamping force to keep the guard from moving. I had a Pro III that moved. My Pros have not, and my Pro II is an 03 model (does not move). Sighting them in is not hard to accomplish. Copper John offers a light foe these. PSE also sells a light that fits. These are the ones I use. They definitely help indoors.

I had the Hunter, and every one of my pins had the fiber optic come loose from the pin the first two months. I told Copper John, and they recommended a few dealers selling replacements. [:@]
Other than that, it' s a decent enough site.

A buddy of mine has a copper johns sight, I think he likes it other than the fact that he has the .029 pins. We tend to like a small pin for targets. But even he will admit that he wishes he had a set of spot-hogg sights like mine. Thier awesome, make sure you look at them as well. I haven' t had to use there customer service, but I have heard that it' s good.

I got the pro model and love it. I got the .019 pins for better shot placement at longer ranges. It has performed very well for me. I give it a thumbs up.

I just bought the hunter model for one of my bows but have yet to put it on. I will post more after I have a chance to put it through some abuse.... I must admit that it seems pretty well made.

Sights are kinda like binoculars-spend the money first or spend it later- Spot Hogg is the best and most serious shooters wind up with them.
