if you like mechanicles you could try vortex broadheads. I am changing back to them from the rage. they are very sharp and strong. i also know a guy that has been shooting them since the early 90's and swears by them. he has not and will not ever shoot anything else as long as they are making them.

Mechanicals:
1) Wasp jakhammer 1 1/4" cut either 100g or 75g 2) Grim Reaper razor-tip either 100g, 85g, or 75g Fixed: Slick trick or Wasp boss bullet Wasp makes very solid broadheads. Kind of a sleeper if you ask me. They don't spend a ton on advertising or marketing, but they have a loyal following for users. |

Ive experimented with a lot of broadheads over the past couple years. The best broadhead I can find is The G5 montec. Last year I killed three deer, two of which were with the same broadhead. One thing I look for in broadheads though is one piece construction. Ive had too many BH blow up and leave blades behind. One really nice thing about the montecs though is that they make a practice broadhead. Which makes it really nice.
Your broadheads are blowing up after hitting a deer:confused0024: Sounds like you might want to pick your spot closer to the rib cage:wink: |

I have heard many good things about the G5 strikers as well as the montecs, but I shoot the NAP Hellrazors. I shot a nice deer last year at 40 yrds and the deer didnt run 10-15 yrds and bled tremendously. I really like the new look of the NAP bloodrunners this year, but who knows, why fix what isnt broke??
