I use a pair of Justin Snake boots, usually they have so much cow poo on them that it works as scent killer... I've never been busted.

Lacross Alpha Burlys are real comfy!!!! I agree with WKP Todd on scent and boots. Comfort and warmth should be more important to you then scent control when buying boots IMO.
