Biologic HotSpot

RE: Biologic HotSpot
It is pretty easy to grow, but I have never had much luck as far as the deer eating it. I grew it two years in a row in a small plot inside the timber and I don't know that I ever seen a deer eat from it, or had a picture of a deer eating on it. It could be that they did not like it or a small 90x90 plot cannot complete with 200 acres of corn.

It got plenty of sun and grew very well. My deer just did not seem to care for it. However, it was a very small plot and I have 6 acres (3 two acre plots) on the property, plus a ton of ag fields. So I don't know if they just did not like to eat it, or if was a case of it being a small plot with so many more food sources to choose from.

I think I read that the HotSpot seed should have about 6 hours of sunlight. It's written on the back of the bag.
I'm also going to tryHotSpot and another brand this year.Plus I'll put in some winter wheat.Where I hunt it's pretty much heavily wooded. There is a power line that goes through part of the area.
I got a buck and a doe during rifle season last year. They were feeding on what green grass wasleft on the power line and coming out aboutan hour before dark.
I'm thinking of archery hunting there this year. That's why I'm going to try a couple of small food plots.I'm sure it will be harder to draw them in in October because they will have more food to choose from compared to late November.
