I use the Bitzenburger jig.Works great on anything from skinny carbons to the thickest woodies.

i have to say i'm with pastor jim. i started using quikfletch and its just alot faster for me.

I bought a used Bitz a few years back. Since everybody says they last forever, I figured why buy new when I could get the best at half price. It works for me!

Im new again to fletching. I havent fletched arrows in forever. Last set I did was aluminum arrows using an Arizona jig. It was so easy to use. Well here we are 10 years later and Im putting 2" Quickspins on my carbon arrows with white wraps. I barrowed the Bohning jig (red one) from a friend and I cant seem to figure out how to get the three vanes on there evenly. When I turn the knob to rotate the shaft, it seems to line up wrong and put the fletching too close to each other. Also, my wraps have a small deer head on them and would like to keep that inbetween two of the vanes and preferably have it facing up (towards the sky) when I have my arrow nocked. Do I need to adjust something on the knob?

I had the same problem. The gaps between the fletching is uneven, of the three gaps two are fairly small and close together and the third is much larger. The arrows seemed to fly ok but i wasn't happy with the way they looked. I ended up getting the rest of my arrows fletched at the bow shop. Need to start getting serious about practicing for hunting season and I didn't want to mess with them anymore. Maybe this winter I will toy with it some more.
