RE: Shot the Monster
ORIGINAL: MeanV2 I still say that if you have trouble pulling any # bow back at your draw length then that poundage is too much for you and you need to move down in weight. 70# is only 70# you may pull it longer but it's still only 70#;) Dan |

Nice review kickin buck. I need to come up there and shoot in the league on tuesday nights once. My dad has been subbing for his buddies and he loves it.

RE: Shot the Monster
ORIGINAL: pheasantfanatic I shot it the other day, and can honestly say that I have never had so much trouble pulling back a 70lb bow, lol. I can draw any other 70lb'er, but I had to grunt with the Monster |

RE: Shot the Monster
I shot this thing as well and found that the draw cycle is at best, difficult. But, its a speed bow, that is to be expected.
MeanV, I believe a lot of supressors are in order for the Mathews bows this year. ;) I shot the Reezen and the Monster both, and, this is no knock on Mathews, but I honestly think they went backwards this year, trying to reclaim the speed crown. The Reezen was actually worse than the Monster in my hands. The Monster wasn't all that bad in terms of vibe. But, both bows had quite a bit of string Vibe. Mathews has always been known for quiet and smooth. These new offerings are quiet, but anything but smooth. |

The New Maximum MeanV in the 7075 alloy is available in Lost Camo & a Carbon Fiber finish which have both been very popular with the Mathews owners. Suppressors are undoubtedly one of the best bang for anybodys $$ in Bow accessories. I will also be introducing some new models to retrofit some Hoyts as well as some of the BowTechs. These models were brought about by demand from customers. We are pleased with our Feedback, but strive to make the best product possible and be here with customer service that is second to none!:D Dan |

MeanV, what is your website? |
RE: Shot the Monster
I shot the Reezen and Monster and I agree they went backwards. The hand shock was alot compared to what I was expecting.
