Glad to see that they are starting to come around . Not hunting on Sundays is so out dated and should be dne away with . There is a seperation of church and state but some states still want to hang onto the past .

I wasn't even aware that states had these types of laws.
There are several that way and I know some Canadian Provinces are the same as well.

IMHO I think it is arather strange law.

It just added days to my season, missed out on alot of good days last year like that too. I thought these wer starting this fall not 2010 like someone else said. The only things that would have taken until 2010 to start is hard antler tags.

Yeah, when working 5 weekdays and having to be there at 7:30 a.m., it's definitely hard to get out there near as much as I would like to.

SUNDAY MORNING...HERE I COME!!!!! (and afternoon..)

I think there are only either 6 or 7 states that still don't allow Sunday hunting. They are all in thenortheast. Go figure![:'(][>:]

I would hope that even if that constitutes a violation, those w/o access would not object. If they do, they would only be cutting their own throats down the line (following you line of thinking).
I don't understand your way of thinking? Where did the cutting their own throats come from? It's a dumb law (yeah, I said it). = - )

I called the DNR Friday to find out when it goes into effect. Right now it has been approved but not in effect. The DNR told me they were having a meeting in May and it should be decided then but she thought it may not take effect til 2010. I was hoping to Turkey hunt on Sunday's with the bow but no go. It would be nice if it goes into effect in 2009 Deer season so we don't have to wait another year.

They told me it goes into effect for the 2009/2010 hunting season.
