Hey SWAT.... so what happened on that first shot.
I take it you' re a finger shootin' Mmmmmmmmmm.... MMMMMmmmmmmmmmm>..... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...(you know) archer. What are you using for arrows that you have broadheads glued onto inserts and why
? Are you shooting instinctive(no sights)?

Well written and you' ll soak that one up for a loooooong time! Nice buck too!
Back in 1985 I was on a caribou hunt with my Dad and one of the fellas that hooked up with us was a retired editor for several well know hunting/outdoor magazines. He did an absolute great article on our hunt and a condensed version of it appeared in North AMerican Hunter and a few others. My Dad passed away a few short years after the hunt and he took the biggest bull out of the group and was as proud as a peacock about the whole ordeal...as was I, especially for him!
Congrat' s again...

davidmil....yeah I' m a finger shooter.
Of course the story was edited left out my equipment...Mathews MQ1 bow, Easton 2315 XX78 with (Bear Razor-lites[the broadheads I was going to use were Magnus]).
I haven' t hunted with instinctive in sometime.
When I bought my 1st NEW bow I decided to put all the bells and whistles on it.
The first arrow hit a small tree branch because I was shooting through 2 mesquite trees. I thought I had a big enough " window" to get it through.
