Loads of problem, not opening threads, taking a long while to move to another subject, very...very slow.
It seems as if this all started when the new server came online, unless of course it's all coincidence, donno [:o].

Seriously!! Almost everytime I go to post something I have to hit the "back" arrow to make itregister. I also have to double click to get things to happen. It is GETTING OLD!![:'(]

Preacher, unfortunately the mods stopped getting to interact with the powers that be after the buyout... I think Rob still has contact with them occasionally, but alas I won't be any help.

There seem to be several problems since the switch. Apparently not just with this site.

I'll forward this thread to the folks working on the problem.

Your poll is running 35 to 1 as of now. It would be more like 100 to one except the other folks couldn't get the page to load.[&:][&:] It's a disaster. I predict if they don't get it fixed soon this site will dry up and fade into the everyone's Good Old Days folder.[:@][&:] It's like having dial up again.... only a little bit worse.

That's not true. There were plenty of times in the past were this site had all sorts of loading problems, server issues, etc.. It's part of having a huge website.

The main difference is we can't just yell to Todd, who yells at Justin who yells at Corey and then the problem gets fixed. HNI was being run out of a small office before. Now it's run out of a publicly traded corporation.

So, while it's not a pet project anymore, it's in the best interest of the new owners to keep HNI going strong.

Have a little patience. Hopefully, it will be rolling along smooth again soon.

Kyle, how old is your computer? I jusdt bought a new desktop and everything seems fine ... but I mostly on HNI via my laptop ... and the issues there are major....

Well....about 8 months now. Bought it before this school year.

I'm running Vista with IE.

So yes, the new computer may be a big help.

Sometimes you just have to love server moves I am sure they will iron out the bugs.
