Depends on what you are looking for? Quality pictures or a scouting tool?
It's not only the quality of pics. I've set 2 cameras up in the same spot before just to compare. You might be surprised what you are missing.[8D]

The lack of quality in an item is remembered long after the price is forgotten.

Here's a pic from one of myHomeBrews!

If you use them just for a scouting tool, as someone else mentioned the wisest choice is to get two mediocre cameras. If it is extremely important for you to have professional clarity on your pictures then you can spend the extra and get a high end camera. Otherwise, its much more wise and efficient to buy two mediocre cameras, (which still take far good enough quality pictures) so you can watch two areas at once. I bought the cheap moultrie and I'm glad I did. If I had bought a camera for around $300 I would have felt totally ripped. Glad I spent 100 and still have the same tool as the others for 300.. You make the choice.. its an easy one..

I was in the same boat not to long ago. I ended up buying two Moultrie 4.0s. Actually going to put them out today, and do a little shed hunting.

and here are a couple from a "cheap" moutlrie ($100)
Quality isnt that much worse than some of the expensive brands.. sometimes ya get what ya pay for.. other times, marketers realize this is how people think and take advantage of it.. I'll stick with my moultrie..

Heres one of a buck..

And another of him from the year before..

I don't really care about quality although it is nice when you start trying to see details.

I set a cheap cam beside my HomeBrew for 10 days I think and the Howebrew got 90+ pics while the cheap cam got 37.

The Homebrews aren't as expensive as you might think. I've owned Cuddebacks, Moultries, & Bushnells, but nothing compared to the Homebrews.

Get both quantity AND quality...get two Covert cams. Cheaper than the "best" but hardly any noticeable difference between them besides, well, cost.

check em out. http://www.covertscoutingcamera.com/
