Prayers for a full recovery for your friend. I hope his surgery went as well as possible. Have you gotten any updates on his condition yet?
He was in surgery for 7 hours this afternoon...the surgery went great, but the doctors are not very promising about him ever walking again....I just spent about 2 hours in his room with him...he is in great spirits and was having a good time joking around like we always did before...

I forgot to mention it in the original post, but this kid is only 17, yet he is handling this problem like a man...his girlfriend was alsohurt in the wreck and all he is worried about is her...sure, he worries about not being able to walk, but his main concern is her...she broke her ankle and will have to wear a neck brace for a while, but she will be fine. You might keep her in your prayers too...

All he wants to do is get better so he can hunt and play baseball...those 2 things are his life.....I hope he can fulfill them....

Thanks for all the prayers!!!!

I really hope your friend makes a swift recovery and is able to do what he loves again. I am sure with time and some physical therapy he will be walking and playing baseball as well as hunting again before you know it.
