Just curious why you were interested in Bear Hunting in MN. There is No Bear hunting better than in Canada unless that is not an option for you.

There Is a pile of Non Resident bear hunters In Mn.
I've known a couple of them

We went up North of buyck a few years ago on a DIY and it was fun. But by the time we set our baits and waited for the to get hit, we had been there 7 days and cost was as much as if we were to use a guide and have pre baited sites.

It comes with expierence just like anything else. You don't learn anything by not trying. Some years guides don't always do well either. This last fall bear hunting was a tough one In Mn. Not to many groups did all that well, Including the guides.

Default Great Outfitter!

I just got back from my trip up there. My cousin works for Keith, the Guide and Owner of Double Drop Tine. The Bear hunting is good, lots of bears. It was Hot when I was up so they were not really running in day light hours. Lots of trail cam pic, tracks, and the baits are getting hit hard though, so they are there.

I would say if you are planning on making a trip plan a little later or when it gets a little cooler. I am planning on going back up in Oct.

The day I got there it got down to 50 degrees and had a guy shoot a 400lbs bear so there are some big ones up there. At least big for Minnesota. Average for MN is only 170lbs. But it stayed in the 70's all weekend for me so I didnt see much just really late.

Anymore questions I would say email Keith or I will answer all the questions I can.
