What are the chances:D. I'd decide if the opportunity arose. Thinking about it right now, I'd shoot and go get the antlers and then mount him, if he was nice enough:)

I think I am with you Rory! I know you can still mount him with his sheds, andas long as he can still be entered in P&Y and/or B&C, he's gettin it! :)

Even if he was record class, I would let him walk... I can't dishonor that deer by tagging him with an "antlerless" tag. If hes gonna give me his life and trophy, I at least owe him the honor of being recognized as such...

I don't believe he can be entered once his rack has fallen off.

That's funny stuff right there! Very similiar questions we posted! Although I would definately without a doubtnot shoot the buckin your scenario. Seeing the antlers fall off right within plain sight, knowing I can go back and retrieve them is what makes myscenario to mejustifiable toshoot him. I would however, have a ethical problem shooting two bucks in one seasonif this unlikely loophole were to ever happen!:D

Walk's regardless If my buck tag Is filled or not.
Very interesting Schultzy! You have me curious, please elaborate!
Even though I watched him shed his antlers, I like them on the head Instead of on the ground.:D I'd wait and hope like hell he'd show his face next year.
Same here Steve!

It'd be a No brainer for me.

I would lasso him and capture him, then raise him in my basement until the next season. On opening day I would turn him loose with a GPS tracking unit attached to his antlers.

pass....but id be carryin them antlers out with me!

just another one for next year IMO!

i dont have a huge buck population to begin with...no sense in killing another one from the herd IMO...already filled my buck tag....

i hate when i slip and kill a button buck...happened twice out of 11 antlerless deer...i pass unless im pretttty dang confident its a true doe....

I would count my losses and go get the antlers and go home happy.
