Hey Elite guys...E-500 AT
#11
Don-I haven't shot an E-500, but I just traded for an '07 Synergy not too long ago. I have to say I am quite impressed. The draw on the Synergy is much like you described, very smooth with no "hump" to get over. Mine is maxed at 61#'s and set at 29". It spits out a 386 gr. arrow at 284 fps. You should definitely check out the Elite forum, lot's of good info and good people there.
Congrats. on a GREAT deal!

These Elite bows are really starting to gain some presence it seems. I have never shot one or even seen one in person so I can't comment on them from that perspective. However, the specs, the design and the components used, like Barnsdale limbs, are very high end. And from what I understand, they're priced right.
I just looked at the site the other day and they have pics and specs of the gt500 on there. That thing is a screamer, especially for a 7" brace height bow.[:-]
Nice bows for sure.
Don, if I were you, i'd hold on to that one for a while. You can never have too many bows.

Don,
That's and ALLEGIANCE with Barnsdale limbs!!!!
That's a heck of a deal, even if the company goes out of business (J/K'ing, not trying to stir a nasty pot by any means). But seriously, that's like giving it away.

You guys are telling me the same info as AT and I haven't joined the Elite forum yet. Well...I am keeping it and heading for the indoor range today and sight her in at 20 yds. Thanks for the info. If it wasn't for this forum and AT, I wouldn't know that Elite bows are quite a bow. I know I never read a neg post about their speeds or shootability.

I'm keeping her guys. Thanks to AT posting that deal about the $230 LW treestand I go 2 Scheels to get a bow holder and low and behold this sweet bow. Might as well have a top of the line 70#er that draws sweet. Going 2 ALASKA in 2010 for my moose hunt I would assume. That an the 82nd, or a new Air Raid.

I joined up on the Elite forum. People there and on thunderbucks have told me that this is the best bow in their opinion that Elite has ever put out. Just call me lucky
