Yep, I have a spreadsheet set-up here at work. I fill in every detail I can think of. I also have a function that I type in the current wind direction and it spits out which stands are suitable for that wind.
It is really helpfull from one year to the next.

Yeppers,
I keep a log/journal and video log in the summers. I keep track of time, weather conditions, wind direction, food sources and travel patterns, moon phase, deer sightings, tracks, scrapes, rubs, bedding areas and doe family estrus dates.

I have never kept a log ,I have hunted all over the country and it wouldn't mean much to anyone but me . I did talk to a guy when I stopped to look at the racks he had fasten to his barn , We counted 50+ racks that he and his son had taken on thier farm . That was his way of keeping a record .It was kind of impressive .

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest
remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

Nope, but I am going to start, if you do like Bruce Lee, you could analyse what went wrong and fix it, may it be a bad stalk that the animal caught site or wind of you, or a missed shot. Bad arrow placement, drawing of animal anatomy to study. Little things that could really count . Thanks for the good Idea.
Good shooting
