I could have a 28" draw on the Impala but when Im pulled back and anchored on the corner of mymouth its only 26"? Would it shoot the same?
Would the poundage be differant if im not pulled back all the way? Or is it a 45 pound all the way back?

The poundage on the bow is measured at 28". If you draw shorter than 28", the poundage is going to be lighter. If you draw farther than 28", it'll be heavier.
The Impala is a good bow to start with I think.I had one years ago. It was my first bowfishing bow. When Istarted thinking about hunting with a recurve I bought aMartin Dreamcatcher. Martin makkes good bows too. And you can find a nice one in your price range.

Its 45lbs at 28".... You will be losing 3lbs per inch of draw length under 28". if your bow is 45# @ 28" and your DL is 26" you will be pulling 39lbs, you loose 6lbs because your DL is 26".

Thanks for your help everyone.
