Oh, I don't know about that. I think too many guys overdo it. I too am one of those guys that hardly ever wax a string. Mine never get any fuzzies or anything. I buy good quality aftermarket strings every two years or about 10,000 shots. If during that time they don't show any wear, don't break and are stable enough that the bow never changes it's tune then what is the point?
ABSOLUTELY,not only do people overdo it,they can be doing more harm than good.Wax build up causes inconsistancies and really affects accuracy.


I agree with the inconsistancies TFOX. I notice when I wax my string that if I shoot right after waxing,the bow will be slightly off and it takes a few shots before it comes back into sight. Anyone else experience this?
